    Shipping and Handling Rates
    We presently only ship to the contiguous 48 United States of America. We can not ship to P.O. boxes. Our customer-friendly shipping charges are calculated on the PRE-TAX TOTAL PRICE of items ordered, to be delivered to a single address. Ohio customers also are taxed on shipping. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes or separate shipments, in the event of a customer approved backorder, SHIPPING CHARGES WILL BE ASSESSED ONLY ONCE, FOR THE ENTIRE ORDER, WHEN THE FIRST ITEM IS SHIPPED.

    Shipping Methods Available
    The Miniature Shop offers "Ground" carrier service. We reserve the right to choose the carrier e.g. USPS, UPS, FEDEX. In most cases we ship using USPS Priority mail which promises a 2-3 day delivery from the day we ship. We also reserve the right to dropship orders directly from our wholesalers when advantageous.


    Where does The Miniature Shop ship from?
    The Miniature Shop operates out of Hilliard, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus).


    Will you have to sign for the package?
    For security reasons, most shipments over $100.00 will require a signature at the receiving location.


    When will I receive my order?
    Orders will be processed and shipped daily Monday thru Friday. All items in our stock (in the shop) will be charged and shipped within 48 hours. If an item is not in stock and we must order it, you will be notified by email and it will take an extra 3 days. If the ordered item is on "backorder" at the supplier, you will be notified by email as soon as we become aware of that status. If it is necessary to ship your order in multiple shipments, the full shipping charge will be charged with the first shipment mailed. Almost all packages are mailed via USPS Priority mail that takes 2-3 business days. Items will not be charged to your credit card or Paypal account until it has actually been shipped.

    Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase with sales receipt in 100% saleable condition to qualify for a refund.

    Sorry, no returns or exchanges on books, videos or closeout items.

    Items sold in sets must be returned in their entirety.

    Shipping charges are non-refundable. Exchanges and new orders will be charged shipping if applicable.

    Damaged or defective items
    If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product within 30 days of purchase. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments. All we request is notification upon receipt of goods.

    You will need to provide:

    1. Your order/invoice number and when you received your shipment.
    2. The reason for return.
    3. Which action you'd like us to take: refund, replacement or exchange.

    Please package your return properly.

    Securely wrap the package. We cannot accept C.O.D, so please ship the package prepaid to:

    Crediting your refund
    Once we have received and processed your return, we will issue a credit to the credit card the purchase was made from. If you paid for your merchandise by check, please allow two weeks for refund check to be processed.

    We do not store your credit card number on our server. We use the industry standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your personal data.
